The study of forage and seed productivity of the samples of alfalfa changeable (Medicago varia L.) in the conditions of Middle Volga region

The Aim of our work was to identify the most valuable samples of alfalfa of variable yield of fodder and seeds in the nursery competitive test. For 2012-2013, in conditions of forest-steppe of the Middle Volga region, was tested on 13 genotypes of (Alfalfa changeable) In the field, they were estimated by four indicators: the yield of green mass, plant height, foliage and seed yield. All studied samples can be characterized as highly productive by vegetative mass and seeds. The largest seed yield was obtained in arid 2013 year, and was 337.5-494.7 g/m2.
