The study of the materials of the criminal case as the basis for the preparation of the prosecutor to support the public prosecution

Introduction: the article is devoted to one of the most important components of supporting the state prosecution - the preparation of the prosecutor for participation in the trial. The author focuses on theoretical and applied issues related to the prosecutor studying criminal case materials. The positions of scientists regarding the preparation of the prosecutor for the trial are examined. Materials and methods: the normative basis of the research is formed by the Constitution of the Russian Federation, criminal procedure legislation, local regulatory acts governing the participation of prosecutors in the judicial stages of criminal proceedings. The methodological basis of the study is the general dialectical method of cognition. The logical, system, structural and functional methods are used, as well as methods of analysis, description, generalization.
