Feature of preparation and processing the fruits of Schisandra chinensis conducts to formation the waste representing fruit stems. Usually on production the fruit stems aren't processed and thrown down that conducts to additional costs for recycling. In work the complex of pharmacognosy researches directed on detection the prospects of processing the waste – fruit stems of Schisandra chinensis is carried out. Features of morphology and anatomy-histology of fruit stems are studied, diagnostic signs of fruit stems as possible perspective medicinal vegetable means are revealed. Nature of localization the essential oil in fruit stems, as one of the groups of biologically active means of Schisandra chinensis fruits is revealed.
