The effect of ethanol at same dose, but at different concentrations and volumes on various behavioral responses of rats was studied. The experiments were carried out for 7 days. On the first day of the experiment, a significant increase in motor activity after introduction of ethanol solutions in volumes of 15.5 ml/kg and 40 ml/kg was observed. Administration of a maximum volume of ethanol (40 ml/kg), produced increase in locomotor activity during all 7 days of observation. It was found that the introduction of a solution of ethanol in a minimum volume (5 ml/kg) was led to changes in the motor activity of animals from the second day of the experiment. Thus, it has been established that the administration of ethanol in the same dose, but in different concentrations and volumes, has a different effect on locomotor activity of rats.
