The study of oilseed flax varieties in the subtaiga zone of the Omsk region in 2022-2023 showed that the shortest growing season was for August varieties - 99 days, Northern and Lapwing - 100 days each, Azurite - 101 days; the longest - 108 days - for Amber varieties. Field germination and plant safety depended on agrometeorological conditions, pest damage and the characteristics of the variety. The maximum number of boxes per plant is 17.13 pcs. It was obtained from the Amber variety, and the number of seeds in the box is 5.12 pcs. in the Severny variety, the largest mass of 1000 seeds - 8.06 g was formed in the control variety Severny. The August variety also differed in seed size, with a mass of 1000 seeds of 7.32 g. August and Azurite varieties provided maximum yields of 2.63 and 2.64 t/ha with an increase of 0.22 and 0.23 t/ha or 9.1 and 9.5%, respectively, compared with the control. The August and Azurite varieties were distinguished by a high fat content in seeds of 47.1 and 47.8%, respectively. The highest economic efficiency was provided by the Azurite variety with a production margin of 163% and August with a profitability of 160%. Agricultural producers of the subtaiga zone of Western Siberia, when selecting varieties of oilseed flax, should recommend precocious varieties August and Azurite, which is very important for this zone, providing high yields, oil content and profitability of production.
