Studying the severity of comorbidity in women with anemia

The results of a retrospective analysis of the study of comorbidity in 856 women aged 18-87 years who were hospitalized in therapeutic departments are presented. Assessment of the comorbid status of patients in the main group showed that among patients with anemia, severe comorbidity according to the CIRS system was 37.9%, and no severe comorbidity was detected in the comparison group. Comorbidity of moderate severity in the main group was 59.7%, in women of the comparison group - 43.6%, Р˂0.05. Accordingly, the number of patients with a mild degree of comorbidity according to the CIRS system among those examined in the main group was only 2.4%, and in the comparison group 56.4% (Р˂0.001).
