Studying the possibilities of Urtica dioica L. Roots and rhizomes complex processing

In Russia medicinal raw materials of Urtica dioica L. are leaves, as K vitamin source. Abroad are applied rhizome with roots as a source of preparations possessing antineoplastic activity (prostaforton, bazoton). On the basis of pharmaceutical faculty departments complex research on studying the chemical composition of rhizomes with roots, to selection biologically active compounds (BAC) and development the production technology of dry extract from roots and rhizomes within complex waste-free processing of Urtica dioica L. is carried out.
