This article examines the possibility of using equipment for the production of large-crystal ammonium sulfate. The technological scheme for the production of ammonium sulfate is considered in detail, the characteristics of the target product - pure ammonium sulfate are given, the basic chemical and physical properties of the starting substances - ammonia and sulfuric acid are considered. The calculation of material and heat flows of production is presented. Possible types of crystallization equipment are analyzed. The design and operating rules of the vacuum crystallizer are considered in detail. The calculation of technological and dimensional characteristics was made.
