The article is devoted to the actual problem of using English as the language of international communication. This problem is especially important because the process of globalization of the world space is impossible without the presence of a language in which all the people of the planet could communicate. The process of globalization, which directly affects the English language, has a number of advantages, but at the same time causes a number of problems that are relevant both for people who use English as a foreign language and for native English speakers.
