Language games in postmodern philosophy

The article is dedicated to the comparative analysis of analytic and postmodern (post-structuralism) philosophy in the light of “language games” concept. The basic definitions and the conceptual schemes of both philosophical traditions are given. Despite of evident wittgensteinian influence on postmodern thought, the underlying methodological difference is demonstrated. In whole the article is trying to register main trends in European philosophy of the second half of the XX century on the item of relations between language and culture.
