It is devoted to the consideration of language methods for modeling the category of the subject as a carrier of conceptual information in a literary text based on the material of O. Mandelstam’s poetry. The regularities of the processes of interpretation and conceptualization of reality are revealed against the background of the subjective organization of the literary text associated with the specifics of the historical and cultural context, as well as the features of the ethnocultural code, the picture of the world of the era. It is noted that one of the main linguistic mechanisms for constructing a subjective organization through the prism of their own and others is a conceptual metaphor, which is both a means of interpreting reality and a fragment of the global coherence of the author’s construct. It is emphasized that, creating a secondary model of reality, the author conceptualizes the world in the form of animated media, each of which contains a fragment of the architecture of meaning. It is concluded that the text as a linguocognitive model becomes a source of cognition of the world, a kind of episteme.
