Language practices in the process of linguistic adaptation of migrants: conflict dimension (based on the researches in the Khanty-Mansiysk autonomous district - Yugra)

The article shows that in the process of migrants' linguistic adaptation there are various obstacles, which create an inner conflict and interfere with the full-fledged implementation and development of the Russian language practices. Among them there are: multilingualism and multi-contextuality of language practices in migrants' families, inadequate assessment by migrants of their own level of Russian Language proficiency, issues of formal language education of migrants' children.
