The article deals with the norms of law regulating the sphere of road safety, which include both administrative legal norms and norms of criminal legislation. The author noted that the problems of the legislative framework in the field of road traffic exist, and timely reforms should be carried out to reduce them, taking into account the public opinion of road users (drivers, passengers, pedestrians).
