Efficiency of acoustic method for revealing of ticks (Varroa jacobsoni Oud.) in sealed bee breeding

With the purpose of the more exact revelation of ticks in sealed bee breeding the authors investigated the acoustic method. They estimated the differences in honeycombs vibrations generated by ticks ands bees. It was shown, that acoustic method based on registration of vibration generated by ticks in sealed cells permit to determine the degree of infection by warroatosis among a breeding.
