The effectiveness of fungicidal protection of winter wheat seeds

The seeds of grain crops serve as a source of the spread of many diseases. In the variants using the fungicides Vinzit and Vibrans integral, used for the treatment of seeds of winter wheat of the Alekseich variety, the level of development of seed infection decreased. Laboratory germination and seed germination energy increased by 3-4% due to fungicide treatment. The conducted studies have shown that winter wheat seeds in the conditions of the Orel region are mainly infected with spp infection. Alternaria (62%), to a lesser extent spp. Fusarium (8%) and slightly spp. Penicillium and spp. Aspergillus. Seed treatment with Vincite and Vibrans integral at a dose of 1.5 l/t reduces the development of a fungal seed infection from 88% in the control to 11-25%, respectively. The effectiveness of the studied drugs on a fungal seed infection does not differ significantly.
