Modern conditions for the development of retail trade, which are characterized by an increase in the share of online sales, require modern approaches to organizing a system for promoting goods. The most significant tool in increasing the competitiveness of a company engaged in the retail industry, in terms of the sale of goods, is the use of Internet marketing technologies in its activities. The practical significance of using internet marketing technologies in the retail sector lies in the fact that at present, when the instability of the economy is caused by many different factors, among which the coronavirus pandemic, has taken a special place today; there is a need to use tools that combine both traditional marketing interventions and innovative ones that are more flexible and adaptable to different factors. The synthesis of the latter ensures high efficiency of the marketing activities of a retail enterprise. Along with this, the need to use Internet marketing technologies is determined by the desire to promote goods with minimal associated costs, which is also one of the factors that increase the level of competitiveness of a retail enterprise. The advantages of using Internet marketing technologies are that they allow you to track the dynamics of demand, and their cost is quite low.
