The article examines the use of big data technologies in political campaigns in the USA, European Union countries, and Russia. The author analyzes the unique approaches and methods of each region, their legislative and cultural characteristics, the impact of big data on election outcomes and provides the examples of legislative acts and decisions regulating the use of data in different countries. The article discusses the prospects and challenges of modern data analysis technologies.
