The article contains economical comparison of fittings made of metal and composite materials. Authors started this paper from the revising the potential areas of application of composite fittings, modern ways to replace the metal reinforcement to its composite analogues. At the main part of current article, the researchers describe the ways to process theoretical calculations to determine the necessary amount of reinforcement. After all, authors compared the price of two types of fittings.
