Efficiency of using children's anaferone in the complex therapy of infectious mononucleosis in children

This review presents the results of using children's anaferone in the complex therapy of infectious mononucleosis in children. A total of 120 children with infectious mononucleosis were treated including 57 children who received children's anaferone for 14 days sublingually. Groups for comparison included 10 children who received placebo and 53 children who received only symptomatic and antibacterial therapy. The study demonstrated that the administration of children's anaferone resulted in faster disappearance of the main clinical symptoms of the disease and the improvement of the series of laboratory parameters that allowed the terms of children's stay in the hospital to be reduced. No side-effects were observed.
