Ensuring food security is a major challenge and trend in modern society. Agribusiness is of particular importance in the implementation of this task. In view of the lack of financial opportunity to invest money in innovative agricultural units and, in pursuit of minimizing the cost of growing agricultural products, economic entities tried to apply a policy of universalization of the means of labor. However the achievements of scientific and technological progress and research in the field of growing agricultural products by various means of labor, showed the inconsistency of this policy. Manufacturers of agricultural machinery must pay attention to reducing the loss of agricultural products during technological processes. In order to achieve lean production, agricultural organizations should pursue a policy of universalizing the means of labor in the cultivation of agricultural crops.
