Efficiency of torasemide application in chronic heart failure and arterial hypertension

The article discusses the effectiveness of torasemide in chronic heart failure and arterial hypertension. Torasemide inhibits the reabsorption of sodium and chloride in the ascending part of the loop of Henle, but also blocks the effects of aldosterone, i.e., it enhances renal excretion of potassium to a lesser extent.
