The effectiveness strategies of regional cultural policy in the south of Russia

The article is devoted to assessing the compliance of strategic documents for the development of the cultural sector at the federal and regional levels. The main objective of the study is to review regulatory legal acts in the field of culture of the regions of the Southern Federal District in order to generalize the accumulated experience of strategic planning, systematize indicators, priorities and target indicators, identify existing shortcomings of the modern system of regional strategizing and directions for its improvement in order to develop methodological foundations for practical assessing the effectiveness of the implementation of regional cultural policy.
