Efficiency of communicative competence training of maritime university students

The article investigates the peculiarities of communicative interaction of marine cadets and opportunities to overcome the communication barriers in the process of training focused on communicative competence development. The structure of the training is described, it consists of six main parts - the competencies that reflect the professional features of maritime industry. The contents of workbooks for the students are introduced in this article, accompanying the training as a complement. The author presents results of the monitoring of cadets'' communicative competence before and after the communication training, according to which the basic communicative competence of marine cadets can be improved in the short time.
