This article examines the effectiveness of implementing innovative technologies aimed at reducing gas losses in technological processes. The impact of innovative technologies on the production, transportation, processing, and storage of natural gas is analyzed. The article presents the results of an analysis of the effectiveness of implementing innovative technologies aimed at reducing natural gas losses, assessed by various parameters that take into account the economic and environmental performance of the projects. It is noted that the use of innovative technologies to reduce natural gas losses has economic implications related to the optimization of gas transportation, storage, and processing processes, as well as the minimization of gas leaks and emissions. It is argued that the implementation of innovative technologies aimed at reducing natural gas losses can be effective due to process optimization, leak minimization, and reduced operating costs. This is important in the context of growing energy demand and stricter environmental regulations. Several areas of innovative technologies for reducing natural gas losses are outlined, along with examples of projects implementing innovative technologies to reduce natural gas losses. The economic benefits of using composite materials to eliminate gas leaks and methods for achieving them are explored.
