Environmental safety of the region: strategic planning and development

The ecological ecosystem includes ensuring environmental safety. Environmental safety is the degree of protection of vital interests of an individual, society, state, and the world community from the consequences and threats caused by negative environmental changes resulting from anthropogenic and natural impacts on it. In each subject of the Russian Federation, there are unresolved problems in the field of solid municipal waste management, air pollution and water bodies. Ensuring the environmental safety of the region affects the well-being and health of the population, as well as the economic development of the branches of the national economy of the region. This article describes economic policy and strategic aspects in the system of ensuring environmental safety at the regional level.
