Ecological differentiation of myodes and microtus in the forest belt of the Western Sayans

Бесплатный доступ

In the article the patterns of distribution of myodes and microtus in the environmental space of mountain forests of the Western Sayans. The significant factors of threedimensional ecological space are identified on the basis of a multivariate statistical analysis (multidimensional scaling, cluster and discriminant analysis). It is shown that differences in species sensitivity to various factors contribute to the discrepancy between the optima of ecological niches of voles, which ensures independence of species in a single community.
