Environmental diplomacy in Central Asia

This article discusses the issues of environmental diplomacy in Central Asia in the context of the growing environmental crisis. Particular attention is paid to the Green Diplomacy initiative in the countries of the Central Asian region. The article occupies an important place in the development of water diplomacy between the states of Central Asia. It is noted that this problem is relevant for the region due to the peculiarities of the position and legal regime of transboundary rivers in Central Asia. The experience of a number of regions and international organizations and NGOs in the formation and development of environmental diplomacy is analyzed.
