The subject of the work is the ecology ethics in Astafiev’s «Tzar-ryba» stories. There are two basic positions considering man and nature connections – anthropocentrism and ecocentrism. Both are revealed in the stories of Astafiev. The writer stands by the ecology ethics principle in the stories.
