The results of studies on differently ripening hybrids of corn in the conditions of ordinary chernozem soil of the North Kazakhstan region are presented. The aim of the research was to study the biological characteristics of corn hybrids with different ripening terms and to identify the most promising among them in relation to the bioclimatic resources of Northern Kazakhstan. Field experiments were conducted in 2015-2017 at the Agrobiological Station of the North Kazakhstan State University named after M. Kozybayev ordinary loamy chernozem with average humus content and average depth. them. Soil availability of mobile phosphorus is low (P2O5 content in the 0-20 cm layer amounts to 29 mg/kg), nitrogen is average (N-NO3 - 15.8 mg/kg), exchangeable potassium is high (K2O - 415 mg/kg), humus content amounts to 5.7%, pH (aq.) to 7.0.
