Environmentally-focused enterprises as a key factor in sustainable development of the region

In this article a theoretical study to update the role of environmentally-focused enterprises in the modern economy. The article reveals the essence of the Concept of sustainable development, identifies the problems hindering Russia's transition to stable growth and sustainable development. The necessity of transition of the enterprises on environmental-oriented production. It is concluded that ecologically-oriented enterprises act as a key factor of sustainable development of the region.
