Ecological factors in development bronchial asthma at children in Samara oblast

Clinical survey and poll of parents of 801 children with intermittent and mild persistent bronchial asthma (BA) is conducted. Dependence between frequency of BA is found in children and accommodation in houses of old construction and hostels, near large highways, influence of tobacco smoke. At the same time almost total absence of influence of low social and economic status, application of open gas when cooking, accommodation in close proximity with the industrial enterprises and combined heat and power plant on risk of BA development is found out. At calculation the relative risk the greatest value as risk factor had passive and active smoking, on the second place of the importance – use of gas/oven heating and low frequency of damp cleaning.
