Environmental problems of the diamond mining industry in the Arctic conditions

The article considers the problem of effective protection of the natural environment in the Arctic region because of the impact on it of the production activities of a diamond mining company. Based on the results of the study, the conclusions are drawn that in their activities, environmental management enterprises should be aware of their own responsibility with respect to maintaining the ecological balance and strive to achieve environmental safety and minimize impacts on environmental objects at all stages of production activities. The method of eliminating the risks of biodiversity loss, developed to ensure effective risk management and impacts on the regions of presence, is investigated.
