The ecological framework of the urbanized territories (on the example of Birobidzhan city)

The article considers the role of the ecological framework as the basis for environmental planning of the territory and optimization the quality of urban environment. The results of work on formation the ecological framework of Birobidzhan city on the basis of his ecological-functional zoning. Calculated the total area of untransformed open spaces in the city - 60,8%, which can serve as basic elements of the ecological framework and promising areas of the ecological reserve planning.
