Environmental monitoring of the arctic regional marine space environment

The paper gives a general description of the monitoring system of the habitat of the regional marine space of the Arctic. Various monitoring types forming the coherent environmental monitoring system are considered. The analysis of the compliance of the existing monitoring system of the habitat of the Arctic regional marine space to the current situation, as well as new goals and objectives resulting from the intensive development of the Arctic space, has been carried out. The role of monitoring the habitat of the regional marine space in achieving sustainable development of the Arctic region is considered. The role of new technologies of the digital economy as a prerequisite for improving the system for monitoring the habitat of the regional marine space of the Arctic is defined.
