Ecological tourism in the Sakhalin region: development trends

The article deals with the current state and prospects of ecological tourism in the Sakhalin region. The Sakhalin region is a territory with unique tourist and territorial resources, many natural territories and natural monuments. The purpose of this article was to identify the main directions in which eco-tourism can develop in the Sakhalin region. Promising aspects of the development of eco-tourism as a way of preserving natural and cultural heritage are highlighted.
