Ecology movement in the countryside in conditions of the political space lack (case study of the Sasovskiy district in the Ryazan region)

The article studies influence of the ecology movement on the local political processes. It describes the main features of the existing political space, range of collective activities taken by the ecology movement, and its attitude to the phenomenon of the politics and the political actors. The author emphasizes the significance of the social movements for the political modernization of Russia.
