Results of three-year researches (2013, 2014 and 2016) a feeding and a foraging of the slaty-backed gull Larus schistisagus nesting on the barrier islands of the Ola lagoon, are presented. As have shown our observations, the feeding base of gulls in the Ola lagoon is rather stable from year to year. The general line in a foraging on all gull’s colonies - is prey on fish: the Pacific herring and its caviar in first half of season, salmons - in the end season. The second direction of food priorities - a feeding sea invertebrates along sea coast and in open of littoral zone at the tide. A waste throughout all nesting season remains only an additional foods. The food ration of gulls of the Ola lagoon nesting on flat coastal bars, is very similar to diets of the gulls nesting on rocky islands in monospecific or nearly so monospecific colonies, local near to coast.
