Ecological and biological basis of sustainable development

Ecological priority, as a necessity to harmonize our increasing needs within the limits of the planet caring capacity that has been established as a fundamental principal of sustainable development concept seems to be still actual and increasingly important issue. An attempt to identify an importance of the study of homeostatic mechanisms for the development of biological and ecological systems of different levels to formulate the essential principals of sustainable development conception and to detect the optimal pathways for its implementation is the main aim for the article.
