Immunological peripheral blood parameters of the caucasian snow vole (Chionomys gud S.) are first examined in different ecological and geographical conditions of the Caucasus middle altitudes (1800-2000 m a.s.l.). Leucocyte number and composition in three species populations from the Western and Central Caucasus are studied. The determined variation of the studied parameters testifies to diverse adaptive changes of immune system.
