Economic security as a factor of sustainable development of the state: socioeconomic analysis of threats and challenges

The article examines the structural elements of economic security as an integral component of the state security system together with such parts as ensuring the country's defense capability and maintaining stable peace in society. The authors cite such threats to the state's economic security as: corruption, uneven distribution of population income, ineffective resource management, high indebtedness of the population and enterprises, ineffective public administration, instability in the political system, environmental threats, global competition, economic sanctions, financial crises, geopolitical instability, trade wars and climate change.
