Бесплатный доступ

The instruments of tax policy are often used in order to regulate socio-economic processes on the part of the state. The search for ways to reduce negative consequences and achieve positive dynamics of socio-economic indicators requires studying ways to improve the impact of fiscal policy on social processes. This article analyzes the indicators of economic development of the Russian Federation and indicators of the standard of living of the population in the country. The research used methods of comparative, statistical and correlation analysis. As a result, a trend in economic dynamics of the Russian Federation, which is characterized by instability and slowing economic growth, has been identified. The analysis of the living standards of the population over the past 10 years has shown a downward trend, which was not reflected in tax policy. The comparison of indicators of both groups reflected the correlation between them, which can be used in further research. The experience of using tools of tax policy and their impact on social processes allow us to conclude that at the moment this policy does not meet the requirements for improving the standard of living and economic development in the Russian Federation. Hence, assessing the prospects for applying fiscal policy in order to improve its effectiveness involves identifying key aspects of socio-economic development.
