Economic benefits of diversification of mining industry Caucasus region

The dynamic development of mining operations led to the formation of technogenic raw materials inventory, recycling is economically impractical traditional technologies. The article describes the basic prerequisites for the development sector, objectively associated with providing diversification of mining industry in the region. It is shown that the development of industrial potential of the regions may be an important component of federal policy. Reasonably, that the prospects for recovery of regional economies depend on the successful implementation of technological diversification of the mining industry in the form of involvement in the production of new materials - ore tailings. New direction of improvement of the regional economy contrasted practice decommissioning uneconomic for conventional mining technology with the reorientation of regional economies on agricultural production and tourism.
