In the article the author proposes an economic model for the formation and implementation of the strategy of innovative development of enterprises. The author has developed stages for assessing the innovative capabilities of the enterprise. The author explores a methodological approach to calculating the effectiveness of innovation. At the moment, the main goal of strategic planning is to provide innovations and organizational changes necessary for the enterprise. But innovations are difficult to use on an outdated technical base. Resource allocation, adaptation to the external environment, coordination and regulation, organizational change are the main functions of strategic planning. In modern economic literature, quite a lot of attention is paid to the formation of enterprise development strategies in the context of globalization.
