Economic nature of the claim and its classification

In the course of business activities and relationships with counterparties, controversial situations may arise caused by the appearance of defects in goods, services rendered at any stage of cooperation, such circumstances are usually called a claim. The article is devoted to the study of the concept of a claim and its varieties, in connection with which the author studied the existing classifications of claims and, based on their critical analysis, formed the author's classification of claims, the proposed features are justified by their relevance to the modern business environment. In conclusion, the importance of pre-trial peaceful settlement of controversial economic issues that arise between legal entities is emphasized, which allows reducing the level of tension between counterparties and maintaining their business reputation. The article is addressed to economists, accountants, the main provisions of this study can be used by students of higher educational institutions, in the scientific activities of graduate students in economic areas.
