The economic essence of the reproduction of fixed assets of agricultural organizations

The formation and improvement of the mechanism of the reproduction process of fixed assets cannot be imagined without analyzing and understanding the economic essence of the reproduction of fixed assets in all its diversity and multi-aspect. For these purposes, the authors analyze the economic essence of the concept of “basic production assets”, based on the analysis of the fundamental concepts of this economic category. The authors conduct an analysis of fixed assets, on the basis of which they give the classification of fixed assets, and also present the reproduction cycle as a series of interrelated stages, while noting the opinion of other scientists who include an additional stage in the production cycle - “pre-production”, citing arguments in favor of the authors' opinion that this stage is not included in the life cycle of fixed assets. The authors provide a characteristic of the types of reproduction of fixed assets, proposed for a correct assessment of the level of technological potential of fixed assets. For the same purposes, the types of the reproductive process, its types and their most productive and effective combination are given. Possibilities of types of reproductive process to generate economic effect are considered.
