The article substantiates the hypothesis that economic freedom and integrity are fundamental to the legal concept of corporate social responsibility. The content of these categories is considered in the context of law enforcement jurisprudence. The notions of economic freedom and good faith are regarded by the authors as principles of private law, which correlates with the approach of the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation to their interpretation. It is argued that conscientious and law-compliant behavior of participants in civil law relations is a necessary condition for maintaining an optimal level of economic freedom as an element of public policy (the foundations of the constitutional system) of the Russian Federation. The indicated categories ensure the operation of the principle of a balance between economic efficiency and public justice. Prerequisite is that a socially responsible business entity works towards achieving long-term sustainability and more capable of managing risks.
