Economic theory (purpose and features)

This work is a theoretical exposition of the purpose of economic theory as a private fundamental science, its main methodological and conceptual features. These aspects are the subject of research. The purpose of the study is to determine and substantiate the purpose, the main methodological and conceptual features of economic theory as a special economic science. In these aspects, economic theory differs not only from other non-economic sciences, but also from empirical (phenomenological, applied) economic sciences (enterprise economics, industry economics, marketing...). The paper defines the essence and structure (main aspects) of the methodology of scientific cognition. This teaching is not limited exclusively to the teaching of the method of scientific cognition; the method of cognition is not the only methodological feature. The paper substantiates the dependence of the methodological and conceptual aspects of economic theory - it is necessary.
