This article examines the development of corporate and organizational structures, as well as their contribution to the economy and government development since ancient times. The study showed the evolution of corporate structures, starting from their origin as a type of specific interaction between individual members of human society, to their unification into organizations with their own separate management structure. As part of the research of the evolution of organizational systems, some specific types of organizational entities that existed in ancient states are considered. Thanks to the historical facts of the economic theory of the work of organizational systems of ancient times, readers will be able to draw an analogy between the work of the ancient economic system and its methods, and the modern realities of the functioning of organizations and corporations in the conditions of the modern economic system.
