Economic transformation of the Republic Buryatiya in 1991-2000

The article analyzes the economic transformation in the Republic of Buryatia in the period of the nineties of the twentieth century, the causes of the systemic crisis of the republic's economy. The study highlighted the historical processes makes it possible to understand the nature of these changes occurred at the territorial level, the factors and their development prospects, both theoretical and practical positions. The focus of the work, the author focuses on the changing economic structure in the republic of Buryatia predetermined current socio-economic trends in the region.
