Economic aspects and practical basis for the development of artificial intelligence in Russia at the present stage

This paper presents an analysis of approaches to the definition of artificial intelligence (AI). The article reveals the economic basis for the definition of artificial intelligence in the digital economy. On the one hand, artificial intelligence (AI) is almost a new Messiah who will save the world from all troubles and misfortunes, on the other - on the contrary, artificial intelligence will completely destroy human civilization, turning all people into slaves of machines. It is proved that most of the achievements in the field of AI is directly related to the growth of computer performance. That is, the issues are not solved with any increase in the «intelligence» of machines, but simply with the growth of their speed, due to which the machine has time for a limited period of time to sort out an increasing number of options for the development of the situation for a greater number of steps forward and, as a consequence, to choose the most optimal A list of problems in the field of artificial intelligence is presented: the world wide web can lead to the emergence of unforeseen properties of the system, that is, the emergence of the so-called emergent intelligence; the transition from the biosphere controlled by the human mind (intelligence) to the cybersphere controlled by computer «artificial» intelligence...
